Relay Module 5v 1 Channel Without Opto

Original price was: ₹80.00.Current price is: ₹42.00. (Including GST)

Relay Module 5v 1 Channel SPDT (Single-Pole Double-Throw) high-level trigger AC power relay board is designed for easy integration with microcontrollers, allowing direct control of up to 10A at 250 VAC. The relay’s inputs are isolated, ensuring protection for sensitive control circuitry. By default, when the relay is powered off, the COM (Power) is connected to NC (Normally Closed), similar to setting the IN pin to HIGH (+5V). This relay module is compatible with a variety of microcontrollers, including Arduino, AVR, PIC, ARM, and more.

Relay Module 5v 1 Channel is designed for switching only a single high-powered device from your Arduino. It has a relay rated up to 10A per channel at 250VAC or 30VDC. There are two LEDs on the relay module indicating the position of the relay. We have three channels of the relay broken out to screw pin terminals.

Applications: Relay Module 5v 1 Channel

  • Mains Switching
  • High Current Switching
  • Isolated Power Delivery
  • Home Automation

Description

Description

Relay Module 5v 1 Channel is designed to switch a single high-powered device using your Arduino or other microcontrollers. This module can handle up to 10A at 250VAC or 30VDC, making it suitable for various applications. It features two LEDs that indicate the relay’s status, and its channels are conveniently labeled: common (COM), normally closed (NC), and normally open (NO), all accessible via screw pin terminals.

On the opposite side of the module, you’ll find three pins: Ground, VCC for power, and an input pin (IN) that controls the relay. The input pin is active low, meaning the relay is activated when the pin is pulled LOW and deactivated when pulled HIGH. This relay module includes additional components to simplify switching and connections, and it provides visual indicators to show whether the module is powered and the relay is active.

How to use: Relay Module 5v 1 Channel

Relay modules like this one are commonly used to drive mains loads from a microcontroller like the Arduino or a sensor. In cases like this, the common circuit diagram would be as follows. For simple on/off applications, the relay can be connected as shown above. One terminal of mains is connected to common, and the other is connected to NO or NC depending on whether the load should be connected/ disconnected when the relay is active.

Check out the image below to see how the relay module is connected to a microcontroller and mains source and load. The mains wiring is screwed to the terminal block, and the microcontroller can be connected using jumper cables.
